Pursuant to COV 4.1-227(E), Virginia ABC has established Seller/Server Training Approval Program (STAP) as the certification process for licensee alcohol responsibility training courses to ensure compliance with Virginia alcohol laws, regulations and responsible service practices. If your business conducts its own licensee alcohol responsibility training course, you can apply to have it certified by Virginia ABC to be used by licensed establishments in Virginia.
